I am Aster Whateley. I recently realized that I am a trans woman, maybe later in life than a lot of folks. That realization is still very fresh, and I want to try to capture that self-growth by building a website alongside a new identity.

Recombination Lines is a blog very much molded on a geocities/livejournal/myspace e/n website, with all the caveats that entails. I hope that other people who may be struggling to understand their identity or find acceptance may identify of themselves here, but being transgender is something that everyone experiences differently. I am not writing to invalidate anyone's experience, only add my own.
